Insurance & Payments
We are happy to see patients privately that have health insurance or are self-funding. Please check with your insurance provider that they are happy to cover your claim, prior to making an appointment. Please note that there may be additional charges for many outpatient treatments, including joint injections and blood tests that may not be fully covered by your insurance policy. For this reason, the reception staff at the hospital will ask for your credit card details to cover any potential shortfall on such charges.
Even if you are privately insured, YOU are entirely responsible for ALL of your consultants’ fees and that the contract you undertake is with your consultant and not your insurance company. The FIPO website will explain this in more detail.
